Minor Hotels is thrilled to announce Queens Wharf Residences is now open and we are searching for an enthusiastic and skilled Duty Manager to join our team on a fulltime basis. This is an incredible opportunity for a customer service expert to play a key role in the launch of our stunning new property in Brisbane and contribute to an exciting chapter for Minor Hotels.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and inspire the front office team to deliver outstanding guest experiences ensuring each guest is welcomed with warmth and professionalism.
- Serve as a role model sharing your expertise and driving the team to consistently uphold the highest standards of service excellence.
- Oversee the execution of daily tasks ensuring they are completed with precision and efficiency.
- Manage guest arrivals and departures seamlessly delivering a smooth and memorable checkin/checkout experience.
- Proactively address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism ensuring a lasting impression of exceptional service.
Hourly Rates (excluding super)
Monday Friday: $36.09 per hour
Saturday: $36.09 per hour
Sunday: $43.31 per hour
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel front office environment demonstrating strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Extensive background in the hospitality industry ideally within a hotel or resort setting with a thorough understanding of guest service standards and operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to maintain a consistently positive and professional demeanor even in highpressure situations.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of duties.
- Impeccable professional presentation reflecting the high standards of the organisation.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to varying schedules as required by the operational needs of the business.
