A unique opportunity exists to join Visa and the INSA (India and South Asia) cluster one of Asia Pacifics and the worlds fastest growing commerce and digital payments ecosystems. The Strategy and Business Transformation function plays a key role in shaping Visas medium and longterm strategy in the markets solving countryspecific opportunities and challenges in partnership with executives and business leaders across Visas organization. Initiatives would include but not be limited to market strategy product strategy multiyear planning and organic / inorganic growth opportunities. The team is responsible for developing thought leadership and capturing emerging trends in the payments industry cross pollinating best from INSA to the world and vice versa.
The team also supports crossfunctional teams in executing that strategy and ensures successful ongoing business operations. The team partners with corporate functions within Visa to develop and enhance best practices leveraging the full suite of expertise that the business requires such as Marketing Legal Finance Technology Risk People Client Services and Communications.
Job Description
Corporate Strategy Manager plays an instrumental role in supporting delivery of key strategic initiatives across INSA. Specific responsibilities include:
Lead or support work streams on projects related to INSA clusters strategy competitive analysis multiyear planning business development etc.
Structure and solve business problems collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues.
Build out unique creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visas many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development
Develop rigorous fact based quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations
Work closely with crossfunctional and cluster management teams on strategic projects bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support
Communicate recommendations to senior management other executive functional or regional staff and management in a clear concise and impactful way
Qualifications :
58 years experience in a management consulting firm or similar experience in a multinational doing strategy planning and financial analysis
Experience in the payments industry highly preferred
Selfstarter team oriented collaborative with ability to participate in complex crossenterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at all levels
Ability to develop content independently and prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently and ability to adapt to changes in priorities quickly
Superior analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling
Excellent presentation skills including strong oral and writing capabilities
Complete team player able to work across cultures upholds and promotes highest ethical standards and mutual respect in the workplace
