Join the Corewell Health/Priority Health team as a Health information Management (HIM) Coordinator Associate where you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient health data management. In this position you will support risk adjustment efforts by facilitating medical record retrieval processing incoming records and conduct outreach to provider offices. You will also analyze electronic health records (EHR) for completeness ensuring compliance with policies procedures and regulatory standards. With a strong focus on confidentiality you will safeguard protected health information while providing timely access to authorized individuals in alignment with Corewell Health state and federal regulations. Assist in Risk Adjustments medical record retrieval through remote EMR (electronic medical record) chart retrieval processing incoming medical records from provider offices and outreach to provider offices.
Follow proper procedures when accessing PH member records.
Responsible for retrieving med records for risk adjustable reviews.
Analyzes electronic health records (EHR) for completion in accordance with policies procedures and regulatory standards.
Accesses inputs and retrieves information from various computer systems.
Maintains confidentiality of protected health information by providing authorized individuals with timely access to patient information in accordance with Corewell Health state and federal regulatory requirements
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Associates Degree
Health Information Management (HIM) computer software knowledge
