What youll do...

Youll join Walmarts Global Technology Platforms organization as part of our Strategy team supporting internal platforms and infrastructure. This team is responsible for crafting facilitating and campaigning strategies spanning a range of technical subject areas such as data artificial intelligence infrastructure developer tools and much more.

Youll join us as a Director of Product Strategy where youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our internal platforms on a global scale. As a member of a small team of organizational and product strategists youll partner with and advise technology leaders and executives across a broad range of technical topics such as AI and machine learning developer tooling infrastructure runtime platforms and more. Through these engagements you will play a critical role as a trusted advisor in product visioning roadmapping growth strategies and much more.

You will be challenged with synthesizing insights from several internal and external sources to craft highvisibility highimpact product strategies on a global scale. In this role you must be able to dissect complex technical concepts and translate them for a broad range of audiences including nontechnical associates and business executives. You must be comfortable in challenging assumptions facilitating difficult decisions and working on multidisciplinary technical topics. You will play the pivotal role of bridging the gap between technology strategy and our associates from around the world.

About Team:
Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure ; platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms enterprise architecture DevOps cloud computing and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores digital channels and distribution centers.

What youll do:

• Lead crossfunctional product strategy efforts aligning with Walmarts technology business and operational goals.
• Craft and socialize clear concise and engaging product stories and strategies including visioning roadmapping longrange planning and whitepapers.
• Collaborate with strategic communications partners to craft product marketing resources that elevate and reinforce a cohesive brand identity both internal and external to Walmart.
• Oversee the articulation creation and delivery of executivelevel communications such as product demos whitepapers and strategy campaigns.
• Partner with crossfunctional leaders and subjectmatterexperts to frame design and plan innovative solutions to complex highimpact challenges.
• Develop a deep understanding of Walmarts technical landscape to proactively identify challenges and opportunities to deepen competitive advantages and improve experiences for our customers and associates.
• Apply a continuous improvement mindset to enhancing the methods systems and tools used to generate organizational and product strategies.

What youll bring:

• Product Experience: Proven track record in product management particularly within technology platforms and infrastructure. Experience in leading crossfunctional teams and driving product strategy at a global scale.
• Technical Acumen: Broad understanding of technical subject areas such as AI machine learning developer tools infrastructure and data platforms. Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strategy Experience: Strong strategic thinking and visioning skills with the ability to craft and execute highimpact product strategies. Experience in roadmapping longrange planning and developing growth strategies.
• Leadership and Influence: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and advise senior technology leaders and executives. Comfortable challenging assumptions and facilitating difficult decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and storytelling abilities capable of creating engaging product stories whitepapers and executivelevel communications.
• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to partner effectively with crossfunctional leaders and subjectmatter experts to design innovative solutions to complex challenges.

The annual salary range for this position is $130000.00$260000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
