The Opportunity: Lead Carpenter
Were seeking a highly skilled and reliable Lead Carpenter to manage and execute remodel projects from rough framing to detailed finish work. This role is ideal for a handson professional who thrives in the field takes ownership of project outcomes and can lead a team with confidence.
Youll serve as the goto expert on the jobsitereading plans organizing materials solving challenges in real time and setting the standard for quality and professionalism. Youll collaborate closely with the project manager interact respectfully with clients and trades and model our values of honesty craftsmanship and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of field carpentry (framing finish carpentry cabinetry trim hardware installation etc.)
- Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters and apprentices
- Ensure work complies with applicable codes job specifications and company quality standards
- Coordinate daily activities with the project manager and subcontractors
- Maintain clean organized and safe job sites
- Communicate effectively with clients and represent Tru Builders with professionalism and respect
- Manage tools materials and deliveries to support timely project execution
Qualifications
- 510 years of progressive carpentry experience including supervisory experience
- Proven ability to lead remodeling projects from demo through punchlist
- Deep knowledge of building practices safety regulations and finish standards
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- OSHA 10 and RRP certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
