LOCATION: Administration Office 600 Edgewood Drive Maumelle AR 72113

Academics Plus Charter Schools Inc. (APCSI) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Registrar for theschool year.

The position of theRegistraris tooversee student records; provide student information to authorized parties; manage the lottery database; and provide general clerical support information and/or direction as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Knowledge of Arkansas Public School Computer Network preferred.
  • Successful completion of the preemployment background checks.

REPORTS TO:Curriculum Coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. APCSIs eSchool System Administrator and creates eSchool access for personnel.
  2. SIS Cycle Coordinator for cycles 27.
  3. Maintains Triand permissions.
  4. Maintains confidentiality of student records.
  5. Accesses student information for the purpose of organizing and managing data to provide information as needed or requested.
  6. Provides and coordinates training to school office personnel in the area of the student enrollment process withdrawals records scheduling as well as other eSchool training as needed.
  7. Communicates with parents staff and students concerning APCSIs vision goals and educational programs for the purpose of promoting APCSI to new families.
  8. Manages all APCSI inactive student files for the purpose of providing enrollment and/or release information to schools as requested.
  9. Ensures eSchool information is properly and timely updated.
  10. Maintains the APCSI Calendar and updates the website as needed.
  11. Maintains the State Required information on the website.
  12. Verifies incoming deposits.
  13. Responds to inquiries from a wide variety of internal and external parties (e.g. staff other school districts students state and federal agencies and the general public) for the purpose of providing information documentation materials and/or direction.
  14. Maintains the Annual Report for APCSI.
  15. Ensures accreditation standards are met.
  16. Ensures student records are up to date and accurate.
  17. Gathers information for Standards Review.
  18. Maintains the lottery process by communicating the process receiving applications maintaining the waitlist and communicating with school personnel as well as parents/guardians concerning acceptance.
  19. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with students parents visitors and staff.
  20. Maintains a positive attitude and represent the school in a positive manner at all times.
  21. Cross trains in the duties of the Human Resource Officer.
  22. Maintains transportation documentation to include bus inspections scheduling buses ensuring drivers records are in compliance and maintaining the mileage logs on all student transportation.
  23. All other duties as assigned.
