About the Role
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist ECMO Specialist you will play a central role on our pediatric ECMO team providing advanced cardiopulmonary support to critically ill children. Youll work in highacuity settings collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and contribute to lifesaving interventions using stateoftheart ECMO technology.
What Youll Do

Deliver highquality respiratory care to pediatric patients in critical and emergent situations.

Operate and manage ECMO equipment during lifesaving procedures as part of a specialized care team.

Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals on patient treatment plans and interventions.

Participate in clinical decisionmaking patient advocacy and continuous quality improvement.

Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced therapists supporting skill development and clinical excellence.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies protocols and professional standards.
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.

Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Prior experience in pediatric critical care or ECMO environments strongly preferred.
