Job Description
RECEIVER:Receiver working at the Grocery Vendor Door trained to operate the D.S.D. computer system and responsible for checkingin vendor merchandise as it enters the store.This persons primary duties include working with the vendor proofing the order checking/preparing the invoice confirming case or unit counts performing price maintenance recording damaged merchandise handling returns housekeeping in the receiving area and organizing stock in the backroom.Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned including other receiving duties when needed.
- Available to work anticipated work schedule:5 Days 35hours per week early AM start and generally morning to midafternoon hours.
- Previous Work Experience:Grocery Stocker experience and computer dataentry keyboard skills preferred but not required; we will train.
- Physical Demands:Repetitive lifting to 30#; occasional lifting to 50#.
- Other Work Considerations: Conscientious and detail oriented; able to work with minimal supervision; organized; reliable dependable and rarely absent.
