Are you ready to take the next step in your career and gain valuable leadership experience As a Strategy / New Product Introduction (NPI) Black Belt (internally known as an NPI Team Leader) youll play a pivotal role in driving the Motor Grader (MG) strategy working across all areas of the business to align priorities execute strategic initiatives and deliver results. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead NPI programs manage budgets and collaborate across Earthmoving (EMD) without direct supervision responsibilities. What You Will Do:

  • Drive the prioritization of all NPI and current production projects ensuring the right work gets done at the right time.
  • Align overall strategy and keep teams focused on key business goals.
  • Lead NPI programs from concept to execution making a real impact on product development.
  • Manage budgets effectively to support critical initiatives.
  • Take on special projects that help move the business forward.
  • Provide clear wellprepared recommendations to leadership helping shape key decisions.

What You Have (Basic Qualifications):

  • Degree/experience: Bachelors degree (strong preference for an MBA) AND one or more of the following experiences: engineering factorymanufacturing commercial (sales or service) experience.
  • Planning: Tactical Strategic: Demonstrated ability to apply effective planning techniques and contribute to operational (short term) tactical (12 years) and strategic (35 years) planning initiatives in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Program Management: Progressive experience and direct involvement in New Product Introduction processes and deliverables or similar large impact projects highlighting expertise in driving strategic initiatives and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business challenges connect data to strategic decisions and proactively identify opportunities to drive outcomes. Strong critical thinking skills with experience influencing crossfunctional teams through datadriven insights project leadership and sound judgment in dynamic environments.
  • Effective Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization facilitating collaboration and alignment even in times of uncertainty and evolving priorities. Must have the ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures internally and externally with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences.

  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills with a track record of identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
  • Experience in process improvement optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Additional Info:

  • Office Model: Caterpillar requires employees to work onsite in the office five days a week.
  • Travel: 15% domestic and international travel is expected.
  • Relocation: Domestic relocation will be available to those who qualify.
  • ISE: ISE assignments are not available.

Summary Pay Range:

$144960.00 $217320.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
