Introduction to role:
Are you ready to make a difference in the pharmaceutical industry As a Literature Review Advisor youll be part of our local Patient Safety (PS) team providing technical and operational support to ensure the effective delivery of literature review activities. Your role will be pivotal in achieving compliance with company and regulatory requirements collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet local and global PS standards. Youll manage comprehensive literature reviews ensuring the quality accuracy and relevance of published material. With strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical research methodologies youll support drug development regulatory submissions and clinical practice.
Accountabilities:
Literature Review Procedures
Ensure the quality and comprehensiveness of literature searches including the use of AstraZeneca databases.
Conduct reconciliations ensuring the accuracy of pharmacovigilance data that is transferred and received.
Oversee the identification collection and analysis of relevant scientific publications clinical studies and regulatory reports.
Stay updated with industry developments particularly automation and technology changes to ensure AstraZeneca leads the way in conducting literature searches.
Collaboration & Cross Functional Support
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide literaturebased insights that inform drug development and regulatory strategies.
Work closely with subject matter experts to develop clear concise and scientifically sound literature materials summaries and reports.
Collaborate with external stakeholders and/or academic institutions on literature reviewrelated tasks.
Regulatory & Compliance Adherence
Actively contribute to maintaining Good Pharmacovigilance Practice through safetyrelated processes and brand activities.
Support external service providers to meet company and local regulatory PV requirements.
Complete all required patient safety trainings in adherence to internal processes and external regulations.
Maintain current and indepth knowledge of:
Global and local procedural and guidance documents.
Marketed status of products in the local country and reference documents.
Conditions obligations and other commitments relating to product safety or the safe use of AstraZeneca products.
