We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Consultant to join our clients team. In this role you will combine deep technical expertise with strong consultative sales skills to help clients understand implement and derive maximum value from our clients products and solutions. You will act as the key link between customers and the technical and product teams ensuring that customer needs are met with tailored innovative solutions. This role would call on the Hospitality and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their technical and business needs
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions
- Develop and maintain deep product knowledge to confidently answer technical questions and address client objections
- Provide presales and postsales technical support including solution design and system integration advice
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align customer needs with product capabilities
- Prepare proposals quotations and tender documents in response to client requirements
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to achieving sales targets
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities customer interactions and market feedback using CRM tool
- Stay informed about industry trends competitive products and technological advancements
Essential Capabilities:
- Understanding of IT application software
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Matric
- 2 years External Sales Experience
- Experience servicing the Retail / Hospitality industry (Advantageous)
