RPO Recruitments client in Cape Town is seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to various aspects of financial and administrative operations. If you have a strong foundation in accounting and administration we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Tenders and Proposals: Identify and evaluate potential tenders RFPs and RFIs. Compile comprehensive responses and diligently track success rates.
  • Project Management and Billing: Register new projects accurately. Update and maintain precise billing forecasts. Generate and issue timely invoices and project statements. Proactively manage debtors and collections.
  • ISO Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to established ISO processes. Participate in internal audits and provide detailed compliance reports.
  • Petty Cash Management: Accurately record allocate and reconcile monthly petty cash expenses.
  • General Administration: Maintain organized financial records and personnel files. Manage office supplies efficiently. Provide crucial administrative support to the Financial/Branch Manager as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Accounting / Bookkeeping Diploma.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proven skills in Accounting and Project Management software (prior experience essential).
  • Familiarity with Proman software (advantageous).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping principles.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Outlook Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional punctuality and strong time management skills.
  • A diplomatic approach and excellent communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail with a highly organized and accurate work ethic.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • A solid understanding of ISO requirements and audit processes.
