Job Description:
As a Web Developer Intern at Business Web Solutions you will have the opportunity to gain handson experience in the web development industry. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers and designers to create and maintain websites and web applications for our clients. This internship is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about web development and wants to kickstart their career in this field.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to design and develop custom websites and web applications
Write clean efficient and welldocumented code
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
Conduct testing and quality assurance on websites and web applications
Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing websites and web applications
Keep uptodate with industry trends and best practices in web development
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science Web Development or a related field
Basic knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript
Familiarity with web development frameworks such as jQuery AngularJS or React is a plus
Knowledge of WordPress and other content management systems is a bonus
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent communication and time management skills
A passion for learning and a desire to grow in the web development industry
Contract Details:
This is a 6month internship position with the possibility of extension or permanent employment based on performance. The internship will be based in our office in Johannesburg South Africa. The selected candidate will receive a competitive stipend and valuable handson experience in the web development industry.
