BECOME AN ASSEMBLER CLASS I AT PRIMEFLIGHT!
Our Assembler Class I is tasked with the assembly and quality assurance of airport ground support equipment ensuring each piece meets company and safety standards. Candidates must be able to follow complex assembly instructions blueprints and schematic drawings to construct or repair equipment accurately. This position requires manual dexterity attention to detail and the ability to use various hand and power tools proficiently. Team collaboration is vital as is the ability to identify and resolve issues during the assembly process to maintain productivity and quality standards.
WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK AS AN ASSEMBLER CLASS I
Ability to read and interpret automotive blueprints and subassembly prints
Proficient use of a tape measure for accurate measurements
Skill in chassis layout and drilling holes to specifications
Installation of Power TakeOff (PTO) systems and drive shafts
Reading and comprehension of Bills of Materials (BOM)
Ability to assemble units accurately according to blueprints
Completion of confined space training
Proper torquing of bolts to specification
Plumbing of control panels and PRIST systems
Reading electrical schematics and wiring cabs and registers
Rolling axles on vehicles
Running and testing of pumping systems
Working efficiently using jigs and fixtures
Pretesting vacuum and aviation trucks to ensure operational readiness
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively
Program control systems and configure parameters for units
Accurately identify all components listed on the Bill of Materials (BOM)
Conduct successful dry tests on vehicles
Complete tasks efficiently and within designated timelines
Perform shadow testing on two units in the test stand
Brings their A game every day with energy and enthusiasm respect for their team and the highest regard for safety
May be assigned other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States
Must provide their own hand tools
Must have a valid stateissued drivers license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to read write speak and understand the English language to include documents
Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile Devices
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both inperson and through electronic means
Pass a background check and drug screen
Airlines are 24/7 so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
