Job Summary

PIPAC Health and Life Brokerage an Integrity partner is seeking a dynamic selfstarter to take an Account Coordinator position in our Group Health Insurance department. The Account Coordinator will work closely with our independent agents designing and recommending employer benefit packages and providing sales and customer service support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for learning and retaining employee benefit information.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable in all group health and ancillary product lines offered through PIPAC with the ability to design and recommend benefit packages for employer groups. Assist the agent with sales enrollment and installment of group benefits and benefit service issues.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with agents and carriers.

  • Recommend and educate agents on employee group benefits for their customers.

  • Understand and promote agent quoting and enrollment tools.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for department processes and utilization of resources.

  • Handle inbound and outbound agent and carrier communication related to various sales and service aspects of the employer group health insurance market.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Associates degree and 35 years of sales HR or employee benefits experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Iowa health insurance license or ability to obtain within 60 days.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with computer programs and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Selfstarter with the ability to operate in an often fastpaced environment involving hard deadlines and a need for timely and accurate responses.
