Avid Core is seekingamidlevelFinancial and Budget Analyst/Project Management Specialist with strong financial analysis experience to support a federal government client in Washington D.C. Were looking for a passionate detailoriented person interested in supporting an international global security program.

The position offers hybrid work flexibility working from a home location and client location with the expectation of attending meetingsat the client site in required.

Salary Range:
$85000$125000 based on experience and qualifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the federal client with financial analysis and program management
  • Support the tracking of all funds related to program execution pertaining to the annual spend plan
  • Support international programs by developing execution plans for new programs and financial analysis/reporting for current programs
  • Provide financial support to create Interagency Agreements (IAAs) between CBP and Federal partners
  • Develop and improve current Business Processes
  • Conduct burn rate analysis and tracking of expected costs
  • Support the planning and execution of acquisitions while managing within established cost schedule and performance thresholds
  • Support the programs project lifecycle and artifacts to ensure all requirements for the program have been met in accordance with the spend plan
  • Support efforts to track cost schedule performance and risk management
  • Support the development of program
    budgets
  • Assist with updating and maintaining cost estimates and related documentation
  • Execute other responsibilities as assigned



Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2 years of financial and budget experience supporting a Federal Agency
  • Proficiency with the full Microsoft suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams and SharePoint)
  • Exceptional editing and financial data analysis skills to ensure deliverables submitted to the client for final approval are errorfree
  • Knowledge of SAP Maximo TRIRIGA or other similar programs supporting federal agencies
  • Ability to obtain public trust security clearance

Education:

  • Bachelors degree preferably in business finance or similar field.

Location:

This is a hybrid position. The candidate must be able to commute to the client location in Washington DC on a routine basis and be available for adhoc meetings.
Candidates will be provided with a computer but must have a steady internet connection and
a phone.
