Mission
The PODER Academy prepares students for college and beyond through rigorous academic and athletic programs.
Position Summary
The PODER Academy is looking for a passionate and dedicated K6 classroom Teacher. The employee will be a part of a winning team and utilize a successful model that calls for hard work long hours intense focus and determination. The job of the K6 classroom Teacher is to provide support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibilities for supervising students deliver small group instruction consistent with teacher expectation regarding reading and language arts and mathematics instruction.
Qualifications
- Wyoming State Department of Education certification appropriate for subject and grade level or both as required
- BA or BS degree
- Must be Highly Qualified Status
- Must be endorsed as an Elementary Teacher K6 in the state of WY
- Able to pass a background check
- Passion for teaching diverse and free/reduced lunch students
- Willingness to work hard and put in long hours must be flexible
- Experience working with K6 grade and/or experience working with diverse students Be a team player
- Multiple Certifications/Endorsements a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
