Job Description
A terminal degree (PhD MFA or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Directing Acting Producing or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas: acting directing or producing. Proficiency in all three is preferred. Experience across at least two distinct media formats such as animated film liveaction film live theatre opera television web series or commercials. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level. Ability to develop and teach a variety of courses within the MPRO curriculum. Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and studentcentered teaching. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
