Job Description

Extended School Year ServicesElementary Special Education TeacherTuesday July 8 Thursday July 313 hour orientation on July 7 8 a.m. to 12 Wednesday Thursday$45/hourGENERAL DUTIES:1. To sustain IEPrelated skills achieved during the 180day school year pursuant to Rhode Island Department of Education criteria by continuing to implement school year instructional TO:Director of Student Services/Principal QUALIFICATIONS: Island Certification in Special Education (Gr. K8) preferred; or RI Certification in Elementary Education or Secondary English/Math with Middle School of Grade Level/Span Expectations in areas of regression/recoupment intervention experience with specified age group including students with disabilities in an integrated class of using teaching strategies that will address the unique needs of each ability to perform the above general duties evidenced by course work and teaching experience.
