Job Description
This is a technical role focused on supporting the Site Manufacturing Strategy to meet the business goals. The role will be broadly split into two main areas:
1. Ongoing support of key process improvement initiatives.
2. Execution of plant modifications and engineering projects to meet strategic business performance targets.
Requirements:
Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assume responsibility for the performance of key plant unit operations with a focus on continuous improvement:
- Provide daytoday support to manufacturing operation
- Monitor plant performance
- Identify and implement processrelated improvements
- Responsible for endtoend process change procedures handling a wide range of project from process control software modifications to minor capital projects or participation on larger capital projects.
- Troubleshooting of complex equipment related issues and development of engineering solutions to address identified problems.
- Commissioning of new processes/equipment
Qualifications:
- A degree in an engineering discipline is preferred preferably chemical or mechanical engineering.
- Proven hands on process engineering experience.
- Strong communications skills with customers and management
- Action oriented skills ability to learn on the fly
- Good problem solving technical learning time management and prioritising skills
- Ability to work as part of team
- Ability to think independently
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety legislation is desired
- Field experience including troubleshooting startup and commissioning of equipment is desired
- Previous experience in FDA regulated facility and knowledge of cGMP standards OSIsoft PI and PCS (process control system) software will be considered a plus.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity
