Job Description
Upway is the world leader of refurbished ebike. We have purchased refurbished and sold more than 50000 ebikes globally. These ebikes come from 400 brands and several thousands of models.
Properly identifying bikes is key for Upway as it impacts all areas of the business:
Improved UX for sellers to Upway
Efficiency and automation in our internal processes
Customer trust and providing the most reliable information for ebikes
Goal
The goal of this role is to create a repository of all ebike models ever produced including model name year of production sizes specs (motor battery transmission ) options and equipments and price
Key Responsabilities
You will be the first person hired on this topic. You will be responsible for understanding the topic in depth building your game plan and executing against it.
This includes:
Analyzing ebike brands and understanding how their catalog is structured
Prioritizing which brands to tackle in each order
Processing and extracting structured information from manufacturers or retailers
Building the pipelines and data model to store this information and making it accessible to applications
