About the team
The Strategic Deployment team makes frontier models more capable reliable and aligned to transform highimpact domains. On one hand this involves deploying models in realworld highstakes settings to drive AIdriven transformation and elicit insightstraining data evaluation methods and techniquesto shape our frontier model development. On the other hand we leverage these learning to build the science and engineering of impactful frontier model deployment.
Put differently we want to understand: if AGI is viewed as AI being able to majorly transform our economy how close are we to AGI Whats still missing How do we bridge these gaps
About the role
We are hiring a HumanAI Collaborator to develop a handson understanding of how people and AI can work together most effectively.
In this role you will study realworld workflows design new patterns of humanAI collaboration and generate insights that inform how we build and deploy models. This role blends research handson experimentation and product thinking and your findings will shape how models are deployed for realworld impact.
This role is based in San Francisco CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role you will:
Conduct field studies to observe and analyze humanAI collaboration.
Design and prototype new methods for integrating AI into workflows
Run quantitative analyses to evaluate interaction patterns and effectiveness.
Translate research findings into recommendations for model development and deployment.
Collaborate closely with researchers engineers and external partners.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have experience with field studies productivity research or realworld experimentation.
Are comfortable navigating ambiguity to define the right problems to solve.
Blend qualitative insight with quantitative rigor in your work.
Have a background in business economics or computer science with a focus on productivity HCI or applied research.
Are excited about frontier AI but focused on practical highimpact applications.
