Finance Manager - Free Cash Flow Planning, Corp FP&A, Corp FP&A

Within Amazons Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) we enjoy a unique vantage point into everything happening within Amazon. Our team provides strategic support to the CFO and senior leadership on enterprisewide planning analysis and reporting. As the central place the entire company looks to for an understanding of financial performance we play a major role in driving business decisions.

One of Amazons key financial focus is longterm sustainable growth in free cash flow. As part of the Corporate Free Cash Flow (FCF) Planning team the Finance Manager will be responsible for the production and administration of several key finance deliverables. In this role you will own key processes essential to the heartbeat of Amazon Finance by focusing on developing best practices for Corporate FP&A which have impact company wide.

planning processes including quarterly estimates the annual operating plan and 3year forecast.
companywide Steam goal review processes.
other highly visible adhoc projects for our leadership team and more.

A day in the life
This highly visible role will be responsible for the forecasting reporting and analysis of Amazons Free Cash Flows critical components such as Capital Expenditures through close collaborations with business finance teams across Amazon. The Finance Manager will dive deep to gain a comprehensive understanding of the drivers of free cash flow and deliver insightful analyses and narratives to Amazons CFO CEO and other executive team members. The Finance Manager drives key projects and will be a key business partner to the business finance teams including but not limited to Treasury Finance Operations Accounting and Tax. We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is adaptable capable of dive deep exercising high judgment making informed decisions and insists on the highest standards. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead executive level FCF related projects.
Contribute to Balance Sheet Working Capital and/or Capex forecasting reporting and analysis including a deep understanding of related business drivers.
Perform financial analyses and provide insightful narratives related to Working Capital Capex and FCF.
Gather define and drive requirements for and prioritize projects to improve reporting functionality accuracy and automation.
Ad hoc financial analysis and data support for business teams and finance leadership.
Enhance existing forecasting models.
Build executive level presentations highlighting the quarterly financial results and related guidance ranges.
Present ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
Consult on companywide forecasting activities.
Recommend and deliver improvements and provide scoping documents for system and process enhancements.

5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
5 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
5 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience
Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field

MBA or CPA
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience with general Accounting around working capital capex and/or Free Cash Flow.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
