ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking two strategic and dynamic Director Capability Team Lead of Data Strategy and Management to lead a highperforming team of data domain leads supporting key analytics capabilities (Marketing/Field Force/Performance Analytics and Forecasting) and our Global Commercial Analytics organization. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing analytic capability data strategies that drive business impact across therapeutic and analytics capabilities. This role will also drive effective and efficient operational execution plans to ensure deliverables are delivered with excellence.
As a trusted advisor and thought partner to Global Commercial Analytics teamsincluding Data Science Performance Analytics and Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS)you will guide the design and development of robust scalable data layers and assets. Your leadership will ensure data solutions are aligned with evolving business needs and are built with sustainability accuracy and agility in mind.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Data Asset Strategy
- Develop and lead data asset strategy for GCA capabilities across key analytics areas of Marketing Analytics Field Force Analytics Performance Reporting and Forecasting.
- Oversee prototyping and deployment of modern scalable data layers to support advanced analytics reporting and modeling use cases.
- Partner closely with Digital teams to scale and industrialize data solutions from prototypes to enterpriseready products.
- Work with senior leaders across GCA to create strategic data solution roadmaps that align to business and capability priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Consultation
- Serve as a strategic data advisor to Global Commercial Analytics teams and business stakeholders.
- Leverage strong Commercial data expertise to shape compelling narratives and recommendations on how to optimize govern and utilize data assets effectively.
- Ensure alignment across business functions on data usage fostering trust in data and driving business efficiency and analytic accuracy.
- Create the foundation for datadriven decisionmaking by promoting data literacy fostering crossfunctional collaboration and ensuring accessible reliable data.
- Alignment with Digital to ensure transparency and ownership clarity.
Operational Excellence & Execution
- Oversee daytoday execution of analytics data management operations defining ways of working and establishing efficient and scalable practices.
- Work with APM to create and manage a structured approach to backlog management and delivery oversight ensuring timely highquality outcomes.
- Enable strategic analytics capabilities aligned with CMO and GCA priorities.
- Establish strong partnership with Digital to ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities effective handoffs for industrialized work alignment on tech stack and driving transparency in prioritized backlogs.
- Oversee budget management ensuring effective use of resources in alignment with strategic priorities
- Lead vendor management activities ensuring alignment performance and value delivery from external partners.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and guide data domain leads in strategy development roadmap planning and backlog prioritization.
- Promote a culture of innovation continuous improvement and data excellence.
- Align engineering resources and initiatives with strategic business goals and evolving analytic needs.
- Promote team engagement and development cultivating an environment where individuals are empowered to grow and contribute meaningfully.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS 7 years (8 years if no advanced degree) of experience in Data Analytics with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the BioPharma or Life Sciences industry particularly in Commercial functions.
- Strong understanding of commercial analytics capabilities and insights archetypes (e.g. performance analytics data science marketing analytics segmentation and targeting forecasting etc.).
- Demonstrated experience driving enterprise data strategies and solutions across multiple domains.
- Expertlevel understanding of commercial data assets including syndicated data sets customer engagement financial and marketing data.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Deep appreciation of the business value of data and how data assets enable actionable insights and decisionmaking.
- Ability to drive a peoplecentered culture and demonstrated ability to develop people and drive empowerment.
Preferred:
- Handson experience performing analysis of commercial data sets and synthesizing insights
- Expertise with developing data strategies and fostering alignment across multiple teams demonstrated outofthebox approaches aligned to business priorities.
- Experience in building data as a capability in a highpressure environment while building credibility and trust

Other Job Details:
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169700.00 to $282900.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
