THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Data Destruction Specialist will play a vital role in supporting our production fulfillment and sales teams.
This individual will be responsible for wiping packaging and inventorying hard drives ready for resale. Additionally this team member will manage RAM and CPU inventory processes.
This team member will also be fully trained as a backup to our Tech team. Should all of these duties be completely caught up on or otherwise not in demand this role will flex to whatever else is needed (monitor testing special projects etc.)
This is a fulltime hourly (nonexempt) position with a starting pay rate of $18/hour. Standard hours are MF 8am5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.

THE DAY TO DAY:
In this role you will have three main responsibilities:
Data Destruction
We are NAID certified data destruction specialists and our service mitigates the risk that businesses face when needing to destroy sensitive data. One of your main priorities will be to properly and securely destroy this data document the chain of custody associated and provide serialized inventory destruction certificates to our clients.
Some of the responsibilities related to data destruction include:
RAM
The individual in this role will be a subject matter expert in all areas related to RAM as well as knowing how to determine the difference between different types of RAM sorting them accordingly keeping up with inventory levels to know how much RAM is needed for internal use and what can be sold to wholesale buyers.
Some of the responsibilities related to RAM include:
CPU Management
Central Processing Units (CPUs) are a valuable revenue stream for our organization and this position will be responsible for receiving CPUs sent from all our satellite locations as well as produced internally then cleaning organizing and listing the CPUs for resale to our wholesale customers. You must become an expert at delicately cleaning and handling the CPUs as well as knowing how to read the information on the CPU and sorting it correctly by iseries and generation of processor.

You MUST have a strong attention to detail in order to be successful in this role. Missing even one letter or number when sorting RAM and CPUs can be very costly mistakes for the organization. It is vital that you are a driven selfstarter who takes personal pride in making sure everything you produce is of the highest quality.
Communication Skills
We need to serve our clients in an organized and timely manner in which case teamwork is crucial to getting this done! You will communicate updates progress needs etc. accordingly to our team members.
Technically Inclined
Considering the products we sell and the services we provide as mentioned a candidate with intimate knowledge of computers and electronics in general will have a much better foundation to start from!
Team Player/Adaptable
You enjoy working with others to accomplish a goal. Youre not afraid to jump in and get your hands dirty.
You value learning new things being challenged and being pulled in multiple directions!
This position is responsible for some safetysensitive duties (certain machinery etc.) and therefore requires a commitment from the team member to be completely drug free please keep this in mind before submitting your application.
