This vacancy is open to 2024 graduates of Birmingham City University (Academic Year 2023/24) ONLY. To be eligible you must have finished your course (graduated) between 1st August 2023 31st July 2024 and no longer be studying.

The fulltime starting salary is normally 24814.00 per annum with progression available in post to 26970.00 per annum.

Library and Learning Resources are looking to appoint one full time Library Experience Advisorto join our Library Experience team.

The Library Experience team serves as the first point of contact for all libraryrelated enquiries playing a crucial role in student and staff support. The team provides assistance across a range of topics from subjectspecific help to resource discovery and referencing while also ensuring that the librarys study spaces are wellmaintained and accessible. They operate across multiple campuses and offer both inperson support and the Universitys only 24/7 online chat service ensuring that users have access to help whenever they need it. Their role in maintaining the physical environment answering enquiries supporting resource discovery and signposting users to further help makes them a vital part of the Library and Learning Resources strategy.

You will be responsible for:

You will be educated to degree level and a 2023 or 2024 graduate have proven experience in the delivering of highquality customer services have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. You will also have good digital literacy with the ability to use work processing spreadsheet and communication applications e.g. Word Excel Outlook and MS Teams.
