Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their dynamic Urban Infrastructure department in a permanent capacity in their office in Cape Town.
Requirements:
- Eng or in Civil Engineering (a Masters degree is preferred).
- Professional registration with ECSA (PrEng) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years postPrEng experience in relevant fields (urban infrastructure roads municipal services).
- Proficiency in MS Excel AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civilsoft Bill.
- Age: Between 3540 years (preferred but not limiting).
- Demonstrated leadership in urban infrastructure project delivery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Serve as Contract Engineer / Employers Agent on municipal infrastructure projects.
- Manage contract administration and compile tender documentation.
- Prepare detailed and accurate construction cost estimates.
- Lead project management design coordination and quality assurance on urban roads and underground municipal services.
