Job Description
A constructionrelated company is seeking a detailoriented and experienced InHouse Estimator to join its team. This role involves working inoffice to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for largescale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes materials and pricing and be able to analyze blueprints specifications and proposals to determine project costs.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare detailed estimates for materials labor and equipment for construction projects.
Analyze blueprints drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information.
Review and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes.
Monitor project costs and update estimates as needed.
Maintain organized records of estimates and cost data for reference and reporting.
Assist in developing bid proposals and responding to RFPs.
Ideal Qualifications:
Previous experience as an estimator preferably in construction or related industries.
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and cost structures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail organizational skills and analytical thinking.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
