The Director for the Equity and Inclusion Division at the Oregon Health Authority will lead efforts to advance the agencys strategic goal of eliminating health inequities in Oregon by 2030. Leading the Division means developing and implementing goals longterm objectives policies protocols budgets and programs to eliminate health inequities in OHAs priority populations and increasing access to culturally and linguistically responsive care in Oregon. The Director ensures that values around health equity antiracism data equity and accessibility are embedded into statewide legislation programs and services that eliminate health inequities in Oregon.

The Director must effectively leverage resources initiatives and ideas to maintain or expand existing programs and develop new strategies to effectively eliminate health inequities in Oregon. A key component of the work is to establish and maintain broad collaborative working relationships with OHA divisions federal and state agencies the community Oregons Nine Federally Recognized Tribes policy makers advocates health care providers and leaders in the health delivery system. The person in this position must have a transformational vision and advanced leadership experience in the equity and inclusion discipline and be well versed in the management of all functions of the division. The Director must have a critical analysis of power privilege and positionality and be able to collaboratively navigate conflict and resistance while leading with empathy and a humancentered approach.
