We are seeking a Lawyer to join our high performing Commercial Litigation practice in Melbourne
This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to:
- Join an Australian tierone practice
- Collaborate and contribute to a high performing team
- Work on major litigation matters for a variety of significant clients
The role
Our Melbourne Commercial Litigation practice currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer (24 PQE) to join their growing practice. We are seeking a talented lawyer with broad general litigation experience to work closely with our Melbourne Partners Fred Prickett Matt Spain and Alexandra Tighe. You will join a high performing supportive and motivated practice group working with significant clients across a variety of sectors.
This role has a high level of client interaction and will see you working closely with counsel drafting advices preparing witness and expert evidence and working closely with your supervising Partner to deliver exceptional service to our successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a highly driven and successful team and work across a variety of matters.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 2 years PQE
- Demonstrated experience in litigious matters
- Strong academic achievements
- Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation
- The ability to project manage and drive matters through to completion
- A strong focus on delivering exceptional client service
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; required for building effective client relationships and contributing to a positive team environment
In addition to this we are looking for a candidate who can contribute to the success of this practice and who is seeking to develop their career in Commercial Litigation.
