Youll be the first inhouse design leader at Voda shaping the UX/UI vision as we scale affirming mental health support for LGBTQIA communities worldwide. Youll own our design strategy create impactful user experiences refine our design system and define what joyful inclusive mental healthcare looks like digitally. Your leadership will shape experiences trusted by millions of LGBTQIA people globally.

Were looking for a talented Founding Product Designer to help elevate our UX/UI refine our design system and craft experiences that are as delightful as they are impactful.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about inclusive design who wants to tangibly impact the LGBTQIA community.
Tasks
Your Role
As our Founding Product Designer youll play a pivotal role in defining the design vision and user experience of our app. Working directly with our founders and clinical team youll bring our ambitious product vision to life. You will:
- Own our design strategy Define UX/UI direction to ensure joyful affirming accessible mental health experiences.
- Design handson Produce highquality wireframes interactive prototypes and polished UI across the app.
- Refine and maintain design systems Ensure consistent inclusive accessible and visually delightful design.
- Lead user research and testing Incorporate empathetic traumainformed and culturally resonant user insights.
- Collaborate closely with founders and clinicians Develop impactful solutions aligned with clinical rigour and queer wisdom.
Your work will directly shape how millions of LGBTQIA people worldwide access supportive affirming mental health care.
Requirements
Youll Thrive Here If You:
- Have 5 years experience in UX/UI product design ideally in a fastpaced startup.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills experienced in owning design systems and UX strategies endtoend.
- Are proficient in Figma and design collaboration tools (Notion Slack).
- Love designing joyful mobile app experiences (experience in LGBTQIA mental health or wellness spaces highly valued).
- Possess excellent communication skills clearly articulating design decisions and collaborating crossfunctionally.
- Balance speed with visual excellence comfortable iterating rapidly without compromising quality.
- Bonus if you have experience integrating AI tools (ChatGPT Midjourney Adobe Firefly) into your workflow.
