Overview
The CXG EN R&S PDI / Migration role is a vital position within our organization primarily focused on managing the data migration process during project implementation. As businesses increasingly rely on datadriven decisionmaking this role ensures the seamless transition of critical data into new systems while minimizing disruption and maximizing efficiency. The successful candidate will coordinate with multiple stakeholders including IT business units and external partners to establish migration strategies execute detailed plans and ensure compliance with organizational standards. This role is not only about technical expertise; it also necessitates strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams through the migration process and enhance overall satisfaction with the transition. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of data management principles and be adept at navigating complex project landscapes to deliver successful migration outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive migration strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the data extraction process from legacy systems.
- Perform data cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather migration requirements.
- Execute data mapping to define relationships between old and new systems.
- Manage the of migration tests to validate data integrity.
- Document migration processes and update procedures as needed.
- Lead communication efforts to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration.
- Provide training and support to endusers postmigration.
- Monitor progress and report on migration status to management.
- Work collaboratively with IT to resolve technical issues during migration.
- Assess and implement data quality metrics and benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies.
- Continuously improve migration processes based on feedback and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in data migration or project management.
- Strong proficiency in data management tools and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud migration technologies is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing complex migration projects.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Handson experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred.
