Job Description

What youll be doing

As part of our dedicated Newmont team youll be an integral part of the client facing team balancing immediate hiring demands with long term talent strategy to attract select and retrain the best talent while focusing on ensuring a positive customer and candidate experience. Youll:

  • Deliver a premium endtoend recruitment experience across Corporate and Technical (Engineering Maintenance and Operations) roles including Senior and Managerial hires
  • Act as a true talent partner to hiring managerscoaching consulting and guiding them on bestpractice hiring strategies
  • Build strong pipelines and source proactively across corporate technical and leadership positions
  • Champion initiatives around inclusion & diversity recruitment process design technology optimisation and employer branding
  • Support international mobility frameworks and governance when required
  • Use data and market insights to inform hiring decisions and optimise recruitment outcomes
  • Create exceptional experiences for candidates and hiring teams alike

Qualifications :

What youll bring

Youre someone who operates with pace and precision backed by deep expertise and commercial acumen. Ideally youll have:

  • Extensive experience (7 years ) recruiting talent at all levels including senior hires across whitecollar technical and corporate roles ideally within a large scale mining operator large mining contractor or complex multi site operations in oil & gas
  • Proven success engaging and influencing senior leaders managing stakeholder expectations and delivering highquality outcomes
  • Strong understanding of talent sourcing strategies and how to engage talent proactively across multiple platforms
  • Confidence using data and insights to improve processes and enhance decisionmaking
  • A proactive solutionsfocused approach to balancing competing priorities
  • A versatile professional communication style to influence and build trust across diverse stakeholder groups

This is a 6 month contract however genuine career and development opportunities are available at Harrier with future roles across the business always open for consideration.  We are considering candidates based in Melbourne Brisbane and Sydney for this opportunity and remote working might also be a consideration for the right candidate.
