As a System Engineer and Analyst this role offers the right candidate the opportunity to own lead and execute exciting infrastructure projects and deliver exceptional IT solutions. As part of the IT Infrastructure team your expertise in engineering and analysis is critical to the success of modernising and the continual improvement of the IT Infrastructure landscape by:
- Conduct systems analysis across people process & technology to identify design and implement solutions
- Own and be the handson technical lead IT on infrastructure improvement projects
- Design document configure test and implement onpremise and cloud infrastructure projects
- Ensure operational processes are documented for handover to support post project
- Work closely with other IT teams locally and internationally to deliver critical business and IT outcomes
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including technical diagrams configuration and asbuilt documents KB articles and procedural guides etc
As these projects impact systems and stakeholders across the world a consulting mindset and strong oral and written communication skills are of utmost importance as is the ability to get handson technically and be a team player. This role is based in our Melbourne office and therefore will require the candidate to be in the office 4 days per week.
Qualifications :
- 510 years of proven experience in IT Engineering focusing on engineering technical design analysis and deployment.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Endpoint Administrator Azure Virtual Desktop Administrator MS365 Teams / Entra / Identity Administration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent infrastructure initiatives with varying scope timelines and stakeholders.
- Indepth practical knowledge with Microsoft technologies (Azure InTune/Endpoint Teams Calling Exchange AVD SCVMM CoPilot AD DS/Entra identify management etc).
- Practical BAU experience with IT Admin virtualisation monitoring backup storage solutions application deployment group policy SOE and certificate management SQL etc.
- Strong analytical problemsolving risk assessment and change management skills.
- Stakeholder management and experience in IT consulting or managed services will be highly regarded.
- The candidate must hold Australian working rights.
