What You Will Do At ODM:

Job Overview:

As the Managed Care Marketing Material Specialistin the Office of Managed Care Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) yourresponsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and maintaining state templates for member marketing and provider handbook materials including consultation with subject matter experts.
  • Assisting with establishing the States process and procedures for reviewing MCE member marketing and provider handbook materials.
  • Providing consultative expertise training and acting as liaison to both intraagency & interagency providers.
  • Responding to inquiries by telephone in writing and in person.
  • Summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Tracking all member and marketing material submissions and coordinating the reviews with internal subject matter experts.
  • Monitoring and performing ongoing assessments of new and existing managed care member and marketing materials for contract/regulatory compliance and information.

Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration social or behavioral science health or statistics; additional 24 mos. exp. specific to subject area of which 12 mos. exp. in use of spreadsheet and database software.

Note: education & experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

Or 24 months experience as Medicaid Health Systems Analyst (65291)

Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required but not for the mandated licensure.
