GMC Rockdale is currently accepting applications for a Dean of Dean of Instruction manages the daytoday operations of the GMC satellite location including academic and student support services faculty hiring credentialing and evaluation; adjudicating faculty grievances/issues and student petitions/complaints; and overseeing Department Chairs and Faculty. Serves as levelone support for student support services. Serves as Title IX investigator and point of contact for Cleary Act issues while administering all nonacademic disciplinary issues including the Code of Conduct and Student Honor Council; oversees satellite activities/events. Oversees physical security of the building state vehicles and fuel cards and facilities including property accountability general interior business maintenance custodial service exterior ground maintenance/lawn service and hazardous materials. Serves as point of contact and community liaison for building and growing relationships with community stakeholders and educational partners. Performs additional duties as assigned/required.

Minimum Required: Masters degree in an academic discipline
Preferred Level: Doctorate or equivalent (PhD EdD DPA JD) in an academic discipline
Experience:
Minimum Required: Fulltime higher education experience to include experience teaching college students or working in Academic and Student Support Services.
Preferred Level: 4 years of fulltime higher education teaching experience and higher education administration experience in an Academic Affairs/Operations setting.
Skills:
Minimum Required: Familiarity with accreditation standards. Demonstrated knowledge of commonly accepted policies and procedures in academia. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills; Attention to detail.
Preferred Level: Familiarity with accreditation standards and the SACSCOC accreditation process. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
