Job Description

The Greenville University Mens Gymnastics program is seeking applicants for the appointment of Associate Head Coach. This appointment begins June 1 2025. This Associate Head Coach will be responsible for oversight of the Mens Gymnastics NCAA Developmental Program and will support the head mens gymnastics coach with the varsity program. Secondary responsibilities will be assigned by the Athletic Director.


Greenville University is a NCAA Division III institution located outside of St. Louis. Greenville University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts college associated with the Free Methodist Church whose faculty and staff affirm a Statement of Faith.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Academic & Spiritual Mentorship: Support studentathletes academic progress and lead team Bible studies or faithbased mentorship initiatives.
  • Coaching & Training: Assist in planning and leading practices and competitions.
  • Recruitment & Retention: Help identify and engage prospective studentathletes through emails phone calls letters and social media.
  • Administrative Support: Manage team operations maintain databases and assist in fundraising marketing and community outreach.
  • Game Day & Event Management: Assist with athletic events performances and universityrelated activities as assigned by the Director of Athletics
Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to Greenville Universitys Christian mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous coaching experience.
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to Greenville Universitys Christian mission and values.


Salary Band: $29250$88000/ Annually. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including ones qualifications and performance equity with others in the department market rates for positions and department budget.
