Hampton Lumber is a familyowned wood products company headquartered in Portland Oregon. With over 1700 employees we operate ten sawmills in Western Oregon Washington and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and export division. Overview
This positions primary function is to assist with seasonal cleanup activities and outdoor/indoor facility maintenance projects. The individual in this position may work at times in the Sawmill and Planer and will be asked to perform a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities
- Outdoor/Indoor facility clean up and painting.
- Pick up slabs sticks sawdust and chips off lower mill floors
- Assist with dust mitigation
- Maintain a safe environment andcomply with allsafety policies and procedures
- Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
Qualifications
- Students are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. (Must be 18 years of age)
- Completion ofhighschool or equivalent preferred but not required
- Laborer experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
- Lifting is 2030 pounds on a continuous basis
- Must be willing to learn new skills
- Be a team player and selfstarter

Some members of our team have worked here for over 30 years while others have just started their careers.
