Job Description
Classroom Assistant Indianapolis Area
Job Duties:
- In this role you will assist with instructional tasks interact with children complete documentation and participate in home visits
- Assist with the planning and implementation of lesson plans
- Use developmentally appropriate techniques to interact with children individually or in groups
- Be flexible and demonstrate good time/project management
- Collaborate and effectively facilitate change
- Communicate openly and effectively
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and or move up to 50 lbs throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
- Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- To ensure compliance FDS is unable to employ individuals with any Felonies or Misdemeanors
