Job Description

Heres What You Need

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine required and

Associates Degree preferred

9 months of Radiologic Technologist experience required or

9 monthsNuclear Medicine Technologist experience required

ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R or N upon hire required or

NMTCB Nuclear medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire required and

CMRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required And

BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and

ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist CT (must be obtained within 3 weeks of completion of the apprentice program required

What You Will Do

  • Complete the FastTrack Imaging CT Apprentice program within 12 weeks
  • Curriculum and program elements to include: ASRT Self Study complete weekly assigned didactic training requirements; Imaging Procedures Candidates must document performance of complete diagnostic quality procedures according to the ARRT CT clinical experience requirements; Patient Care Including interactions management medication administration patient history postprocedural and customer service; Radiation safety and does reduction techniques; Imaging formation evaluation and archiving; Equipment operation QC and troubleshooting; Venipuncture
  • Meet attendance requirements
  • Be prepared for class with necessary supplies
  • Actively participate in clinical care during clinical time (professional accountability and partnership
  • Complete assigned work on time
  • Pass CT registry within 3 week of completion of program

Work location:Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth 6100 Harris Parkway Fort Worth TX 76132.

Work hours:Full Time 36 Hours First 12 Weeks Friday Sunday 10:00AM10:30PM

After 12 week training program schedule will be Friday Sunday 7:00PM7:30AM
