AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Box Maker to be located in Somerset KY. Reporting to the Production Supervisor this position will fold boxes based on the product being run and ensure the line is supplied with a steady flow of boxes to maintain consistent production.

JOB DUTIES:

• Always follow all safety guidelines in order to eliminate accidental injury.
• Maintain property plant and equipment to support and improve the safe production and performance of operations.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and provide suggestions to improve processes and participate in team projects.
• Maintain an ample supply of boxes ahead of the Nesters.
• Make sure boxes are in good condition and printed clearly. Notify Lead/Supervisor of any problems/defects with boxes.
• Verify that you have the correct carton based on the product being run.
• Be aware of the production schedule and communicate with the Lead regularly.
• At the end of each run count boxes so the correct amount is on the line to fill the schedule.
• During downtime help with reject pallets.
• Always keep the designated Hasko area clean and hazard free.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• No Diploma or GED is required.
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• The ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
• The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Able to follow established policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Able to demonstrate practical problemsolving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment on assigned projects/tasks and report to supervision the status of each as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequently push pull carry and lift up to 50lbs.
• Continuous walking standing stretching bending stooping twisting reaching grasping and repetitive movements.
• Frequently talk hear read write and comprehend the English language.
