What you will be doing:

You will manage essential HR documents and handle filing tasks while also supporting routine payroll activities like data entry. Our office in Juneau is located at 3132 Channel Drive with plenty of parking and a view of the channel. After you have received training and with supervisor approval parttime telework from Juneau may be an option for this position.

Graduation from high school or the equivalent and six months of advanced clerical experience.

Substitution:

Six months of postsecondary education (16 semester hours or 24 quarter hours from an accredited college or university equals six months) in any field may substitute for the specific experience.

Special Note:

High school graduation equivalent means one of the following: 1) a G.E.D (i.e. passing the General Educational Development test).; 2) completion of any basic adult education course of 480 class hours (16 weeks at 30 hours per week); 3) six months of work experience performing duties related to office or clerical support; 4) twelve months of work experience involving some routine tasks related to office or clerical support; 5) highest grade of school completed plus any kind of work experience that totals 12 years or more; or 6) acceptance for admission in full standing by an accredited college or university.
