The R&D team at Cohesity is on a mission to help organizations manage and protect their data in smarter and more scalable ways. Our customerobsessed engineers design innovative solutions that tackle the hardest technical challenges. As a Member of Technical Staff (MTS5) you will play a critical role in enhancing our platform through innovative development rapid problemsolving and close collaboration with Product Management Customer Support System Engineers and our customers reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering.

HOW YOULL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
Lead a small team in designing developing and supporting features for onprem and cloud platforms.
Mentor engineers on writing testable and maintainable code and drive the development of complete feature sets.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with Engineers Architects Product Managers Designers and Support teams to drive technical solutions.
Perform indepth root cause analysis troubleshoot and fix complex product issues and develop tools to accelerate problem resolution.
Own the delivery of features and fixes with clear communication risk management and timely execution.
Example: You will use strong debugging and coding skills to identify and resolve critical customer issues within our data management platform improving reporting time by 30% within 12 months.
WED LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
8 years of experience developing and troubleshooting largescale distributed systems microservices and SaaS architectures.
Strong programming experience like Golang C or Java.
Expertise in analyzing debugging and troubleshooting complex technical problems.
Familiarity with opensource technologies such as Kafka OpenSearch/Elasticsearch Redis PostgreSQL MongoDB Apache Flink or Confluent Schema Registry.
Experience working with tools like JIRA GitHub and TestRail.
Proven track record of leading projects endtoend including customer rollout.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to the Data Management domain is highly desirable.
