This position serves as Deputy Director for the Division of Finance and oversees multiple sections that provide statewide support through subordinate managers.
Working as a partner with the Division Director its key responsibilities include analyzing and recommending division goals and policies identifying necessary regulatory changes and providing short and longterm planning efficient resource management and effective program delivery.The Division of Finance provides the highest quality accounting payroll and travel services for the State of Alaska.

Positions in the partially exempt service are exempt from the recruitment processes required by AS 39.25.150 (3)(10).
