Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Human Resources Partner to join our Consumer Small & Business Banking HR team; providing support to management within our National Branch Network organization. The HR Business Partner executes HR strategies and solutions spanning areas including employee relations talent acquisition talent management and development DE&I employee engagement manager effectiveness leadership coaching and more. This partner acts as a trusted advisor to management and will play a critical role in ensuring alignment of HR initiatives to key business priorities and strategic objectives.


In this role you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables and contribute to largescale planning related to Human Resources Business Partner deliverables
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business challenges that require an indepth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Focus on support for middle to more experienced level leaders spanning a range of complexity
  • Lead the consultation advice and handson support for the execution of human capital strategies resolutions and leadership initiatives in support of strategic business decisions
  • Enhance and drive the effective and efficient delivery of specialized services to ensure leadership receives the appropriate resources required to fulfill people related requirements
  • Advise business leaders by asking the right questions developing organizational and cultural knowledge sharing observations data and themes relating to specific human resources products and services in order to develop and implement human resources solutions
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies procedures and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
  • Embrace the Human Resources Operating Model by proactively and effectively collaborating with partners to positively influence outcomes
  • Act as a change agent to support business transformation initiatives
  • Promote a positive work culture by implementing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and overall engagement
  • Drive execution of annual processes including goal setting performance appraisal process compensation planning
  • Coach managers on performance improvement plans and employee development strategies
  • Partner with management and recruiting to support our talent acquisition strategy including our approach to source assess select top talent
  • Able to leverage human capital metrics including attrition hiring and engagement to identify trends forecast workforce and staffing needs and support data driven decisions


Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Human Resources Advisory or Human Resource Business Partner experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a geographically distributed workforce and fieldbased leadership
  • Previous exposure to consumer banking products and services or experience working in a major global financial institution or regulated retail environment
  • Labor relations expertise (or relevant HR experience in an organized environment and/or Labor Law expertise)
  • Ability to leverage human capital metrics including attrition hiring and engagement to identify trends forecast workforce and staffing needs and support data driven decisions
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of employee relations as part of a human resources function
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization and ability to effectively collaborate with and influence HR peers and partners
  • Leads with a risk mindset identifying escalating mitigating and managing employment related risks
  • Operates with a sense of urgency passion for results and personal accountability
  • Adept at the creation and development of executive level presentations which present information in a visually compelling manner
  • Strong project management skills able to establish strategic action plans drive execution and deliver desired outcomes or results
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and influence at all levels within the organization
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and ability to develop HR strategies to support the achievement of business priorities

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84000.00 $149400.00
