Job Description
Toast is driven by building the allinone restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business increase sales engage guests and keep employees happy. We are seeking a Senior Manager to play a critical role in supporting our Customer Success and Care organization. This role will partner closely with FP&A Care Operations Customer Experience Analytics and Customer Success organizations. This is a highimpact role that will partner across teams with the opportunity to drive longterm shareholder value.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Serve as the Finance business partner to key decision makers for Customer Success and Care and partner with them in weekly monthly quarterly and annual strategic and financial planning discussions.
- Analyze business results forecast to actual variances and trends and communicate important takeaways and actionable insights including identifying risks and opportunities
- Design implement and track important metrics to measure performance against strategic goals identify emerging trends and provide insights about the drivers of performance
- Collaborate across Care Operations Customer Analytics Customer Success Customer Experience and Business Intelligence to identify and understand complex relationships between key drivers of our business
- Act as a strategic partner providing financial expertise and guidance on how to evaluate multiple investment opportunities to drive return on investment
- Complete adhoc business projects and financial modeling analysis that drive decisionmaking
- Frame and break down complex problems into key components analyze large datasets to drive actionable insights
- Grow and develop a team of high performing financial professionals
Do you have the right ingredients* (Requirements)
- Bachelors degree
- 8 years of strategic finance operational finance FP&A or investment banking experience at a highgrowth tech company
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven success partnering and collaborating across a wide spectrum of stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highgrowth and evolving environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Ability to build robust financial models used by teams throughout the company to size opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new initiatives
- Excellent communication skills; ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs and present to all levels of management
- Track record of leading growing and developing highperforming teams with a focus on handson development and coaching

- Public company Strategic Finance experience
- Proficient in SQL and ROI Analysis
