Job Summary:
Join our team at eBay as a DevOps Engineer where you will be instrumental in enhancing the infrastructure that supports our global payment systems. We are looking for a skilled engineer who is passionate about automation scalability and optimizing performance in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build test and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve system reliability.
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to enhance system stability.
- Ensure security and compliance of payment systems with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure Salesforce Oracle or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python JavaScript PHP Ruby.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking security and system administration.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$115200 $199700Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
