About you and this role:
As an Accounting Leader You will be leading a group of cost accountants that handles cost accounting activities for MGA APAC support cost accountants region. Your job is to lead this group manage all people related process and be responsible for cost accounting closing (monthly/quarterly) and other compliance related tasks. You will also interface with regional stakeholders and regional and global work process leaders.
Responsibilities
- Assist the site/Area cost Leader in implementing the functional and organizational strategy and supplement in achieving the functional and organizational goals
- Ensure all internal controls are effective and performed as per the process. Support external and internal audits.
- Educating and coaching GAAP accounting to cost accountants and ensure that we close the books timely with quality
- Coach and support cost accountants to meet annual deadlines expense budget inventory audit and control.
- Very high degree of Stakeholder management experience and expertise required
- Identify opportunities for Process Improvements and execute related plans. Provide leadership in the development testing and implementation of process automation including macros and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Oversee creation and maintenance of work process documentation.
- People management Assist team in preparing and finalizing annual goals and doing performance review and providing regular feedback. Ensure team is fully motivated and in good spirit throughout.
Qualifications
- Qualified CMA/CA/CPA/MBA/MCOM with 10 years of team lead experience with Manufacturing Cost Experience.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint presentation and other stakeholders presentation
Your Skills
- Proficiency with SAP Power BI Power Query and other automation tool
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
- Able to handle multiple priorities organized and flexible.
- People leadership or having prior experience of handling large team.
