ABOUT THE ROLE
Take on an exciting opportunity as a SIL Coordinator for the MidNorth Coast NSW whilst assisting other regions where needed. You will play a vital role in providing direction coordination and rostering to ensure seamless service delivery while offering supervision and support to the SIL Mentors to build a highperforming team culture. Reporting to the Lismore CASPA Office you will uphold CASPAs quality standards ensuring consistent and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction coordination and support to the SIL Mentor staff
- Active supervision of all SIL Mentors
- Induction Training and Orientation of new staff
- Development and implementation of young person Case Plans and Future plans in consultation with Case Workers
- Develop implement and maintain rosters in accordance with SCHADS Award
- Lead and contribute to a positive team culture through regular team and clinical meetings
- Ensure houses are maintained in accordance with the Statutory Standards of Care and ensure OCV and OCG compliance is met
- Administrative duties
- Crisis Management and WHS compliance across Family Support Programs
- Compliance with WHS Act
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Where no qualifications are held a strong background in youth/human services
- Understanding and empathy for vulnerable families children and young people with complex needs who have suffered childhood trauma and neglect
- Ability to support staff working in difficult conditions including vicarious traumarelated incidents
- Demonstrated understanding of the demands of Statutory Out of Home Care
- Highlevel interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution and effective communication and experience in staff supervision coaching and supporting staff working in difficult conditions
- Demonstrated ability to monitor therapeutic plans for clients.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to children and young people who have suffered early childhood trauma and neglect
- Intermediate computer literacy
Desired
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services Youth Work Mental Health or other relevant field
- Budget management/contract management experience
- Significant rostering experience
- On the ground youth work experience
