About the Role
Provide one on one inhome active overnight support from 11pm to 7am to a person with disability living in Greystanes.
Successful candidates will have experience in high care including hoists peg feeding catheter and bowel care and will be able to commit to a minimum of 3 active night shiftsper week on acasual basis with willingness to pick up additional short shifts within our lifestyles program.
Joining ourLifestyles team you willprovide oneonone support to individuals with disabilities in their homes with travel between clients and working short split shifts required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
- Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
- Maintain and monitor personcentred plans
- Documenting and progress note keeping
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting people with disabilityin a home care setting
- Catheter and bowel care experience
- Manual handling and hoist experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Confidence and experience in providing personal care
- Australian Drivers Licence and reliable insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Willing to complete basic household chores
- Passionate about delivering PersonCentred care
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
